I have gone to so many seminars, studied in different classes at Zak Barnett Studios in L.A. It’s hard to answer that question with a one person answer. Who do you feel has taught you the most in your acting career? I can’t wait for everyone to see them on December 2nd! I was so excited!!! I love the later episodes. How did you feel when you found out that Season 1 Part 2 would be airing? When I’m performing I become a different person. Most people are surprised when they find out I’m actually really shy in person. What is something that people would be surprised to find out about you? My favorite game is Minecraft and it’s a game my brother and I like to play together. The director and other actors were amazing and I really learned a lot from them. It was a little like wearing a superhero suit. They recorded my voice but also my body motion using a motion capture suit. The remake of Resident Evil 2 was a fun experience and I learned so much from it. You have done some video game work as well, tell us about that and what your favorite video game is? Also, the cast seems to have a really good time together. The storyline is unique and the writing and acting are incredible. If you could guest star on any Netflix series which one would it be and why? There was a really emotional scene where I had to confront him about it and I had to really dig deep to give the director the raw emotion he wanted. She was conflicted because she loved her dad but also had her doubts. I played the daughter of a professor that was thought to have played a part in a young girl’s disappearance. When I was ten, one of my first jobs was a film called Spinning Man. What is the hardest acting scene you have done so far in your career and why? Every time something like that happened, we all just laughed hard. In another scene Bryana was flinging her stilettos and one flew off and almost hit Kai (Ray Ray) in the face. In one scene, Bryana was supposed to pick me up and when she tried she collapsed and we both fell to the floor. I feel like there was a lot of behind the scenes physical humor. He is so funny and if I’m going to be out in the wilderness I want to be laughing.Īre there any funny behind the scenes stories you can tell us? If you had to work with a “real” teen celebrity for the wilderness camp, who would it be and why? When I have on the full costume, I feel like it’s easy and almost natural to transform into her. When I went over my lines, I imagined I’m in full costume and visualized myself on set. When I read the script, I tried to act like a person who doesn’t care what people think. She doesn’t care what others think and is very sarcastic and funny. What is your favorite characteristic of Valeria and how do you get in character? They hired my friend, Symera Jackson, for Jackie who is perfect for that role. With Valeria I became a completely different person and it was a lot of fun to play this crazy character. I actually first auditioned for the role of Jackie which is the complete opposite of Valeria! Later in the audition process they asked me to audition for both Valeria and Jackie and I felt more like Valeria. What I love about her is that she knows it and actually loves it when people call her that. She’s a bit of a loner and people call her a weirdo. Let’s get started and learn a bit more about this marvelous actress.īSCKids: You play a very unique character, tell us a bit about her?Įliza Pryor: Yes she is very unique!
